Hydro is a SUPER BASIC game engine created by me, Harol, just for fun. It’s written in Odin and uses OpenGL. I developed this engine between 8th and 9th grade.
- I made this SUPER BASIC game engine cause i what to enter a good university & wanted to show my abilities to get in.
- I always wanted to do a game engine, they are so wierd to understand.
- I wanted to know if was capable to making it.

2025-03-18 - I created the first version of this game engine by following a tutorial, I dint knew how it worked at the moment (alkoxide is my discord user name & this that can be found in the Odin lang official discord in #showcase in 18/03/2025 20:25.
2025-03-18 - stuff made by following tutorial (PLS ignore that printed message)
2025-06-06 - got basic meshes working, all in one file.

2025-06-08 - I separated each Proc/func in a file and added obj loading and cameras.
2025-06-10 - added 3d models & tested it and cleaned the code.
2025-06-13 - Tried to add normals to the 3d models to add lighting but i accidentaly combined the vertex & normal atribute together, i was able to fix this error in 30 mins but if kind funny.
2025-06-16 - this is the final product
